Because:
1) I hate cutting rectangular holes
2) I don't like the cord going through a grommet and hanging on solder connections in the chassis
3) who's going to steal a powercon? Nobody knows what they are.

I use them on anything that doesn't already have an IEC.

How did you solve the pan suspension issue an what pan did you use?
