Volume-Poti ändern am Blues Deluxe

Hallo Gemeinde,

der Fender Blues Deluxe (wie auch sein naher Verwandter, der HotRod Deluxe) hat das Problem, dass das Volume-Poti im Anfangsbereich, zwischen 0 und 1 (von max 12) sehr stark wirkt, d.h. es ist unglaublich schwierig, zwischen "nix" und "brutal laut" zu dosieren. Kann man das nicht durch ein anderes Volumen-Poti verbessern? Müsste man dazu das 250 kOhm-A Poti nicht durch ein 1MegOhm-A ersetzen? Für alle Fälle hab ich den Schaltplan mal beigefügt.

(sorry for my answer in English, I can read German perfectly, but writing is something else...)

I think the volume issue in the BDLX is not just the value or the taper of the pot, but it's the design. I changed my BDLX (a 90ies original) to a more AB763-design and no longer have the volume pot issue. This is what I did (only cost me a couple of euros worth in caps an resistors):
