--- Zitat von: Puddnhaid Husting am 22.02.2017 07:50 --- you need about 8A HV and 2.3A for heaters (assuming a GZ34). So a 150mA transformer with 3A filament would be fine

I meant 80mA of course

roseblood11:
This online calculator says 140mA:

Maybe I used wrong assumptions :

325v secondary
2x 6v6
4xEcc
Gz34

I get 78mA

Edit: oh I see you used 6600 in the load

sjhusting:
I don't believe 147mA for one second, for the following reasons:

1) with 4 ECCs using max 2mA /triode that would be 130mA for plates and screens for 2 6V6. Take 10 off for screens and you have 120mA or 60mA /6V6. That is believable for 6L6 but not 6V6. I would expect something closer to 40mA for 6V6

2) the Hammond 290CX - recommended for a Princeton Reverb, a 2-6v6, 4-ecc , gz34 amp - is rated at 115mA. Hammond dimensions their PRs very generously.

Jedenfalls ist der Trafo dann ausreichend. :-)
