I checked the picture again today and it seems like it's wired correctly. Sorry, I shouldn't write comments when I'm tired  :facepalm: However, double checking isn't a bad thing anyway  ;)

No worries. I did check but it is connected properly. Like you say good to check anyway. Also tested diodes and they are fine


I did try a new rectifier tube but unfortunately same problem still exsists.


Maybe l should look at removing filter caps to see if they are causing a problem.  What do you think???

Keine Sorge. Ich habe es überprüft, aber es ist richtig angeschlossen. Wie du sagst, trotzdem gut zu überprüfen. Auch getestete Dioden und sie sind in Ordnung


Ich habe eine neue Gleichrichterröhre ausprobiert, aber leider besteht immer noch das gleiche Problem.


Vielleicht sollte ich versuchen, Filterkappen zu entfernen, um festzustellen, ob sie ein Problem verursachen. Was denken Sie???

Hi,
I suggest to disconnect all leads on the secondary side of the power transformer and then read the voltages. Just to to make sure that the PT is okay. Then connect the power supply part to the transformer but with all leads disconnected which are going from there to the output transformer and the heating pins of the trubes, and read again all voltages. Go on accordingly, step by step from the power tubes to the input tube. Post the voltages after each step.

@Striker52: Wenn ich das Posting weiter oben richtig lese, dann sind alle Spannungen direkt am Transformator gemessen okay, daher kann man sich diesen Schritt eigentlich sparen, besser sogar vermeiden, da dann beim Neuanschluss eine neue Fehlerquelle entstehen kann. Hauptproblem scheint zu sein, dass der Kenntnisstand gering ist.

Thank you all for your comments and input. Like Dirk says it is unlikley to be the P/T. Will probably pull circuit board out and check that for poor connections. Will update when issue solved.
