Diodes rectifier SS 1n vs uf

I recently had a problem with one of my uf5408 diodes, apart from my carelessness which cost me a good lesson (I mistakenly took a 3.15 fuse misreading 315), I started reading about some differences that could be on the sound compared to the "classics" 1n4007.
Has anyone done any comparisons?
Now I'm trying 2 1n4007, but I don't notice substantial differences, maybe in an A/B test they would come up.
