Hello Everyone
I've built a Spitfire, and luckily it sounds like it works.
The problem is it has way too much top-end. It's not because it lacks a bottom, but I can only just open the tone potmeter before the top end goes completely over edge, and when I set the tone to reasonable top-end, I think it lacks quite a lot of midrange. Does anyone have any ideas?
Best!

Hi,
C3 might be a good place to start. You could check with different values to get a feeling of how it affects the top-end.
Best regards, Dirk

Thanks, it worked. If I remove it, and open the tone potmeter completely, it sounds great. Not top-boost though, so maybe I'll experiment with some other capacitors over time. But right now, I have a hard time believing that it can get any better.
