Titel: kit or schematics to build a tube tester?
Beitrag von: danieleb am 8.01.2024 13:47
Hi, I'm looking for a schematic or a kit to build an "easy" tube tester (sorry I don't know the right name in english) for the common amp tubes (ECC83, EL34, EL84, etc...) to check status and find the best in my "collection".
Do you know something easy to use/build?

Tank you

Simplest way to test tubes is in an amp.

Here's a highly regarded (by professionals) DIY tube tester:

too digital for my knowledge, I don't go beyond transistors and my mac have only a tb3, I prefer old mechanical meter, better with the amp, how can I measure them in it? I have a lot of amps at my disposal, but I only know how to set the bias.
