Hi, I'm a new italian member and I speak only english. Probably you have already discussed on pickups but I am not able to undestand deutch language.

I would to know what winder prefer between Leosound and Barfuss and because. I have tried a Leosound humbucker in the past, but I never tried the Barfuss. I frequent other forum but few people knows this both pickups brands.

Thanks a lot

Marco

Hi Marco,

I think both, Barfuss and Leosounds are outstanding pickupwinders.

I like the Barfuss most if I need Tele pickups (especially the Broadcaster), Leosounds build my favorite Strat pickups (1962 overwound set) and Michael from Leosounds makes great custom work on request.

There is a third german pickupwinder -Häussel- and he builds my fav humbuckers (the '62 and wild honey modell)

But overall, it is all a question of personal taste, all of them will do a great job, no matter if you choose Tele, Strat or humbucking styles of pickups...

Regards
Stephan

Thanks Caisa, I know Haussel (Amber and Kloppmann too) but the prices is too high for me. Leosound and Barfuss, instead, are cheaper.

Thanks a lot  ;)

Hi Marco,

What kind of pickup are you looking for? Vintage PAF, or s.th modern or high output buckers?

Do you have the Leosounds GrowlDogs? Is there s.th you dislike?

bye
Stephan

Stephen in the past I have a Classic 59 Hb, I have sell it because I sold the guitar where I have it. I have intersted in vintage sound. I would find a pickups winder that produce good vintage pickups (humb, single coil and p90) in order to buy from the same winders different kind of pickups. Leosound is very cheaper and fast (I don't want wait some months for a pickups!) and so I order from it.

Ciao Marco,

Cari saluti, Mathias
