Titel: A couple guitars and a bass

I thought I'd show a few guitars my brother recently completed. A blue Tele, with Fralin cryo pickups and Callaham hardware; a sunburst Tele with a B-Bender, and a bass with a spalted maple top and Bartolini active pickups. He's getting good at this stuff.

Going to a guy in St. Louis. I will get to play it next week, though, before it's delivered. The neck is heavily flamed.

I think, there is probably a preference for "surfy" colours in your family, isn't it?

If I remember rightly, you also are a fan of colours like Baby Blue and Surf Green, aren't you?

Well, the customer specified the color. My brother, left to his own devices, will do natural finishes; he likes wood. I, on the other hand, like "surfy" colors. Probably because I played a natural-finish Tele for 30 years, and got tired of it.

Dirk took baby blue tolex out of the store before I could build something with it.  >:(

Hi Steven,

Your brother is not only a very talented craftsman - he has also an excellent taste. My respect!

I don't have to mention that I like the blue Tele ;)

Yeah, the blue Tele looks great! I wish it was mine...  ;D
I love these surfy colors too!
Great looking guitars... They look damn expensive.
