Hey,
habe vor einiger Zeit (ca 2 Wochen)
die Endstufenröhren meines "Edition Tube 20" Amps gewechselt,
in Mesa Boogies EL84.
Spiele den Amp nun seit einiger zeit
und immer wenn ich ihn "zu laut spiele"
(bedeutet 3/12 im Distortion Kanal)
zickt er rum und gibt ein eckliges wummern von sich...
Hat das was mit dem Bias zu tun?
Oder sonst jemand eine Idee?
(Ebenso im Clean Kanal :( )

Ich besitze den amp zwar selber nicht, habe aber mal in einem anderen Forum (ich glaube Musiker-board.de) gelesen, dass man die schrauben des ampschassis am gehaäuse nachziehen soll. Es sollte sich also um ein rein mechanisches Problem handeln.
PS wenn der amp dann offen liegt, würde ich mich über ein paar fotos vom innenleben interessieren, da der schaltplan anscheinend nicht im web aufzufinden ist...

It appears as if Snyder or Spinal Tap my have access to the circuit.

I thank you for your reply and the link.
I have already discovered that circuit for the "20", and it may well be the same if not similar to the "Edition 20".
The aniversary model I believe came out around 2006 to mark H&Ks 20th anniversary in the amp building business ???And I believe the newer Statesman is similar with a few extra bells and whistles.
