Titel: PT for 1U power amp

hallo
I want to build  power amp like marshall 20/20 or mesa boogie in 1U chassis  with 2XEL84 ,and I want to use  marshall 20/20 OT from TAD and Dirk's 50VA ringkern trafo for PT.
Question is ,can I use this trafo for my project,I thing yes but I'm not sure.

Hi,

the high of the T50 is 40 mm, 1 U is 45 mm - so it should work but absolutly at the limit.

Hi,

the HT voltage should be fine for EL84. A tad high, but ok.
Heater current is enough, unless you put in several ECC83.
